An Inspirational Women

Ginny Dauses is an amazing, adventurous, caring, loving, determined, most devoted women I have ever met and It is an honor to be able to interview her. She has done so many great things for our school, parish and for all the underprivileged people everywhere. Ever since she was little she has praised and worshipped Jesus and it has defiantly gotten her a long way. She is always there to put a smile on your face and make your day a bit brighter. Ginny Dauses is a role model to me, and to most people in St.Marys High School.
When I interviewed Ginny the topic was the Archdiocesan Culture of Life Medal of Honor. This medal is the highest award the Archdiocese gives for Pro Life Work. This award was given to her by Cardinal Keeler ( a former archbishop of Baltimore.) She received it on Respect Life Sunday in October.
One of my first questions was "How did this award that is been given to you make you feel?"
Ginny replied.
" I was in shock. So excited!" So many other people work so hard in the movement for Respect of all Human Life so I was amazed and grateful that the Archbishop would choose me to receive the award. I think its the teens that really deserve it, they are the ones that take time out of their lives to pray, fast and who go to the March of Life and serve the poor and elderly. It humbles me to think I got this award when there are people like them in this world who deserve it so much more then me. I am just one of the little ones!"
I was so amazed and her answer and was kind of wondering what her life is like and how she deals with life everyday, who she looks up to, and what her goals are, so i continued to question her.
"Who are your role models in life?" I asked.
Ginny answered. " I have a lot! as far as earthy models I would say my mother and Nana, two women with selfless love and compassion. Both of them are great examples of faith! Another role model is the Blessed Mother, perfect model of purity, faithfulness. She is my daily reminder, my focus, she is the one who leads me to Christ her son?"
I was so interested that I had to hear more about this.
"What are your goals in life?"
Ginny answered with a smile on her face, "To get to heaven and take as many people as I can with me." Ginny read a quote. "When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single it of talent left, and could say I used everything you gave me."
I reply. "Do you feel that Christ was always with you through this experience and has it changed your life?"
"Christ is always with me." She says. "He amazes me with his Faithfulness, he has given me so much, and he continues to amaze me. But i do not believe that it changed me, maybe made me even more on fire for God and the Respect for Human Life, from the womb to the natural death."
My last question for her was "Who would she dedicate the award to?"
She answered." Everybody! To my teens, who amaze me everyday with their love for Life and their respect for all Human Life from Conception till natural death. I would also dedicate it to the Little Sisters of the Poor who remind me everyday that the elderly are often forgotten about."
Ginny is an inspiration to the world in my eyes and I hope that her goals in life will come true. Ginny deserves this award and is an amazing huge-hearted person that will never be forgotten.
